The end of the boardwalk …
Maybe there’s just not enough time to get all of our ducks in a row. That’s assuming we know the names of those ducks !
Reflecting ..
The past few days I’ve found my mind filled with thoughts of just how much has happened in the space of two years.
Keeping pace
Step by step, we accept that movement & motion are essential to us facing fears, progressing. The tiny step of taking action, simply moving our mind, to progress with the less than perfect timing, lack of preparation & understanding of so many things.
Commit to seeking joy ..
Most feelings can be summed up in a few short words. Grief, as complicated as it is, can also be summarised with just a few words, looks, gestures.
Award Nomination!
To be nominated for an award from the charity that sparked my imagination, fills me with, nothing other than joy. A reminder that the little things bring much sunshine.
Unimaginable …
Imagine if …. Letting our imaginations run wild, dreaming, planning, creating. Basically this is very simply us - thinking.
Embrace it ..
Time has literally, gone. Regardless of our internal weather, the season, the temperatures. There simply no adjusting the time setting.
I’ll never know …
With each passing day, there are more smiles and they change. There’s a difference to the smiles, I’ll never know the full detail.
Silent revision ….
School years are nearing closure, a full chapter of childhood that has just a few brief paragraphs left to finalise. 📕 Cramming in some final revision, trusting it will just be enough 😊🙃. This little chunk has his English GCSE today.
Grief starts with love …..
I adore the seaside, sand, shells … the smell & sounds. It always, without fail simply sets me straight. Irons out the creases, the mess & I’m ready to put on my smile & face whatever needs attention.
Inside OUT
We build walls for safety, privacy, protection & to create partitions. This is done inside & outside … of our world & minds. Always in the pursuit of peace. ❤
Sharing the treasure …
We each hold memories of all shapes & sizes, some pretty, others grim & grey. They blend together to form what we carry, it’s invisible most of the time. Our treasure chest.
Nourishing …
The routine of the morning cuppa. The environment we find ourselves in, dare to put ourselves in.
