Hope
Hope
There is no hope, or is there ?
There was no hope of reversing the damage cancer had done, of stopping it in its tracks, of seeing old age.
Cancer had run wild, leaving us with thoughts running free. Hope ! Yes, there was hope to hold onto, tightly. We hoped we could learn from the intruder, that we could not allow it to take away our hope of finding peace, living out the time together loudly, with joy. We hoped we could get to the finish line, contented.
The hope carried us, gave us purpose. It provided foundations to build upon, to greet hope again.
Hope filled our house, landed in our hearts. Hope became our google maps ! Hope was more essential than direction.
There is hope. Always.
When we were told there was no hope, we found it.
If today, hope is hiding from you or has been snatched away. Believe me, it’s waiting for you.
