What’s really going on ?

Realising that having the ability to find a way to view things, that allow in light, joy, healing & positivity … finding a reason to skip, feel lighter. Is found by many as incredibly irritating.

Encouraging others to attempt to view their own situation from different angles, has been met with backlash on many occasions. Which is why I’m here & you’re reading this.

I didn’t buy, want to believe, want to live an existence that was described as “this will never get any better”

That seemed literally terrifying, impossible, unbelievable.

It’s been questioned … what really is going on behind the scenes Michelle ?

Behind the scenes is a building site, it’s messy, so much has been demolished is crumbling away. There are however, foundations.

I was scared, petrified, horrified. Weighted down…. But I would retain control of what I could, cancer I couldn’t control, but I could control how we all felt about it . We made friends with it & accepted we would have to rebuild around us.

For now, I continue to keep going, in a way that I can make viable. I hold hope close & carry with the fear.

Oh & yes. I carry a smile. Talk endlessly, hide nothing, stand tall & say to myself …

Bring it on … whatever you’ve got for me life, I’ll deal with it in the only way I know. Head on ! Relentlessly. Positively.

Spotlight on bright beam. Not hiding from grief or blocking out the rays of sunshine.

Life is always a complete mix of new build, demolition, rubble & shit ! All of mine is in view, for anyone to see.

For anyone that needs to hear this today. Positivity grows, takes hold & takes us to new places, however bumpy the road. However, so does negativity. Find the balance & build.
