Is life simple or complicated ??????

Death & life exist together … we know death is in our story, meaning life feels it deserves a big chapter, with depth, meaning & lessons woven through it. Right ?

We often treat life as though it’s made up of opposites.

Loss or life.

History or future.

Joy or grief.

Smiling or sadness.

Heartbreak or a heart bursting with love, joy, excitement.

As though choosing one means letting go of the other.

But I don’t think that’s how life works, life is too complex or maybe too simplistic for this to be the case.

Loss teaches us how precious life is.

Our history gives meaning to our future.

Grief exists because love existed first.

Sadness makes our smiles more authentic, not less.

A heart that’s been broken often becomes the one most capable of bursting with gratitude, compassion and joy.

Perhaps the richest lives aren’t lived on one side or the other.

Perhaps they’re lived in the space where both can exist together.

Where we carry our history while still creating our future.

Where we honour our loss while still embracing life.

Where grief and joy don’t compete…

They quietly teach each other how to exist.

Think about it ❤️

Life is always teaching us, testing us & delivers change without our permission …. Whenever it fancies.
