The hustle & bustle of life is all around us, it’s vibrant, fast, colourful & as complicated as it is simple.

A year without you, or should I say with a different you. A year since your seat in heaven was ready, you were not afraid to take it, just not really ready ❤

One to one … when life takes a knock, the one thing that’s guaranteed to help the situation, soften & support it is spending time with someone on a one to one basis. Talking is a lifeline … talking through what is happening, re running it through maybe over & over. Getting the fears, the frustrations into words .. into sentences & out. The magic of 121.

Grief requires careful thought, consideration. The complexity of each situation at different times deserves & responds well when deep consideration is indulged in.

Let it flow ….. let it shine, let it cleanse, embrace the flow.

Christmas decorations done differently this year. With our hearts & souls decorated so differently to 2023. It felt appropriate to do simple .. & twinkle.

The season of JOY is upon us, the smells, the tunes, the jostle & joy.

A huge subject, with at least a trillion different viewpoints. Each grief card that is dealt out by life, is different. The overall strapline may appear the same … the detail is however very different for each person & situation.

Associations with dates throughout our year, form our feelings, thoughts & overall experiences on these dates year on year.

There are not many situations I can think of where laughter in some way, doesn’t fill us with energy, strength, relief, coping ability & light.

Everything in our world requires locking, unlocking & knowing which keys are important to us, is on times .. KEY.

Layers of warmth are what are required throughout life. The chillier season reminds us of this.

It’s easier to recite it, when we start with A. Then build from it. It comes naturally & we learn it from a young age.

Thoughts wandering… taking us to far away places, distant memories & way into the future .. dreaming. Away from current reality, the moment.

A new day to plant thoughts, tend to already planted ones & gently grow, get stronger.

The first thought when I was told the news of what had been discovered from a scan, the dark sombre news that came without any wrapper of hope… nothing, no glimmer…..

Time, events, emotions, experiences, people, places… make up the chapters of our life. The full & final story.

Comfortable shoes are a priority for me. Gone are the days of forcing myself into new shoes & persisting with them, in an attempt to suit the party, the glittery outfit, to make me look taller , lengthen my legs … all to result in blisters that last for weeks !
