The sitting that lives on ….

Those that get to experience the sitting that can’t be prepared for, shouldn’t be feared & lives with them, in them .. are forever changed.

Getting to be in the place, with a person who is leaving life & love behind, to take a seat elsewhere… in the unknown. Lives on with us.

We see things differently after sitting through death, watching life move. It’s personal growth & transformation for those who are privileged to do so.

A hard act to do, leaving us with gifts galore. The ability, to view what is perceived as major as incredibly minor.

We changed, it was unavoidable.

If you’ve experienced the sitting, please don’t fight to return to the mindset that lived in you before, the privileged sitting. You can’t forget the sitting just as you can’t reverse the change, it lives on.

See it as a gift, as the pain took a deep hold of you, as you continued in the silence that followed, the change was weaving into your cells, at speed.

The major became minor. Plans, ideas, views, interests, attitudes … they were rocked. Your perspective on life was never going to return to how it had been.

As the light came, the thoughts settled somewhat … you found you waste less time, have the feeling of less time, are less shaken by disappointment, more accepting of imperfection, grateful for each opportunity, live now. You ultimately know, that life really does end… yours & everyone that makes your life.

The gift was life changing.
