Open …
An open gate. Ever so slightly open, partly closed … depending on how one likes to view it. This gate forms a barrier between spaces, these spaces blend with the ground beneath the gate … level.
Remaining grounded & providing space for grief will gently support.
Space for my thoughts continues to challenge barriers. Grief can give the feeling of confined spaces, numerous barriers, closures & roadblocks.
The key 🔑 is held within us, to unlock the barriers….
🔑 Creating space …. Lots of space, grief loves wide open spaces to scream, jump, maybe have a tantrum or two. It helps us look into the distance & breathe.
🔑 Letting go …. Allowing ourselves to loosen the grip. Holding onto a life, a future we thought was ours, will always keep the gates firmly closed. Gently easing the grip, realising the space we create will support us.
Feeling trapped in any capacity is largely agreed to be negative 🤔
So, to flip this to the positive side … opening the gates is the only option OPEN 🤔
